Launched in 2009, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) was created to support the growing needs and realities of Southern Ontario, a region suffering the lasting effects of the global economic recession. FedDev Ontario fulfills a key commitment in Canada’s Economic Action Plan to deliver short-term and long-term support for Southern Ontario’s for-profit businesses.
